I have to say I am pleasantly surprised that Peggy and Barbara are back on board. How have you both been? I haven't checked the Obits board in weeks, but I knew that someone named Kim was running it. I never bothered to ask for any password from her since I rarely have time to read, let alone post a message there. Now, Barbara is back and I'm so glad. Will I need a new password?
I ended up going to the doctor and found out I have sinusitis--but I can only take pills for it--something called Guifenisen that's also found in the brand of Robitussin cough syrups and pills--because every time I've tried any of the nasal sprays I get a bad bloody nose.
Wow, I'm feeling fine and now Peggy and Barbara are back. What a great Sunday! I sure would love to see how much Miss Scarlett has grown since her last pictures came out. I bet she is one beautiful baby!
I'm just counting the days until the 26th of June. That will be my last work day until July 13th. I'll be on vacation for two weeks. My husband wants to go to Houston to visit his siblings and to see how his late father's wife is doing. We also want to go to Corpus Christi for a 'tiny second honeymoon' for a few days--just to get away from South Texas and see some Gulf water instead of brown grass. It's very humid here, but there is really no kind of rain--in the past year we're at least 15 inches Below normal rainfall, and expecting a long, hot, humid, dry summer.
IMO, President Obama has made a good start to gain respect for us in the Middle East. We can never give the Iraqis enough apologies for what our country did to them since 2003. I know that with President Obama in charge, things will be different for Israel, Palestine and the whole region--for the better.
I'm glad that Dick Cheney is still trying to defend himself, because everything he says 'can and will be used' against him in a court of law for his War Crimes trial. I know that there is still so much info out there that is still hidden, but every day new things are being learned about the corrupt Bush administration. The more info that comes out; the better.
I was going to watch "Meet the Press" but there was some Tennis match going on.
