Subject: Hey Everyone! I didn't oversleep. I've just been sitting here reading all your different posts...(I may not have liked Charlton Heston's political views, but he was a wonderful actor and I will miss him...)

From half-priced clocks to "Bewitched". Tommy, I am happy that you are a young man who appreciates the Classics of TV. My son Chato likes to watch TVLand and all the 1960s, 1970s re-runs. I LOVE the Honeymooners! Ralph, Alice, Ed and Trixie Norton--Funny! I have the classic 39 episodes and am just starting to collect the other 70 or so other shows, from different places on the Internet. (These are the episodes that last anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes and are not part of the classic 39).

I am totally disgusted with what is going on in Washington, DC. With all these current happenings--Blackwater staying for another year in Iraq; Gonzales PERSONALLY witnessing torture in Guantanamo Bay, and urging harsher torture; the memo written by Yoo-showing Bush not only knew there was torture gong on at Gitmo and in Iraq, but he approved it; Nancy Pelosi saying over and over that Bush and Cheney will NOT be Impeached, even though we ALL know there is more than enough proof to start proceedings TODAY; Chertoff claiming that HE has authority to forget and bypass all Environmental and local governments along the US-Mexico border so he can start building the damn wall--which isn't going to do any good because the terrorists NEVER came through Mexico--they came through Canada! etc... I could go on and on...and check out how chicken al-Maliki is over there in Iraq. First, he says he'll fight al-Sadrs men to the end, then he declars a cease-fire. That's a fine wimp Bush put in charge of in Iraq. And don't you just love the Main Stream Media? They won't tell us what really is happening in Iraq--we have to find out here on the Internet. The PNAC agenda doesn't seem to be doing too good lately, but to hear the newscasts, everything and everyone is a-okay.

I wonder who the troll is who is causing all the trouble at this board. I guess he/she doesn't have anything better to do than to post stupid comments. I wonder how much the Repub party pays them per hour.

I am feeling a burnout coming. I'm 41 years old and time is finally catching up with me. I work full time, cook and clean for my cousin during the week days--then go home on Fridays, cook and clean on Saturdays, and get one day off (thanks be to God He said to take off one day per week to just rest and relax). It's like all I look forward to now is Sundays, because I can sleep in a bit later, PLUS Chato and my husband cook the meals for Sunday, PLUS I get to go online at home and read the messages here from the week and check if anyone has answered any of my messages.

In a few minutes I'm going to have an early lunch, then go back to bed for a few hours. I'll try to post another message before I leave for San Antonio this afternoon...

Mercedes

Yep, I have the classic 39, too. It's a cool set. The internet is definitely the best place to buy DVDs. Low prices!! (NT)TommymittenzSun, April 06, 2008 9:32:43
