"I'm from Maradon in Saldea. I pretty much grew up by myself by the time I was old enough to realize I could manage on my own. It's not that I ran away from home really, more that my family left me. You see, my father is a wealthy merchant, so he was gone all the time, and my mother died while giving birth to me. That's how I've known all this freedom in my life, although considering some things in my history, I'm not sure if perhaps a little less freedom would have been better. Then again, without my life being the way it was, I might be dead or burned out now. But where are you from? I've been telling you my whole life story, so now it's your turn."

Fiara wiggled into a more comfortable position on her saddle, and listened to Brandy.
