"The Inn is so beautiful," Mayria thought. She trouped up the stairs with her heavy bag, and looked into a room.

Everyone else seemed doubled up already, and the only options she had were to sleep with Isayah, or with Kayla. She sighed, caught in a quandary. What could she do?

She took her bags in, arranging them on the bed to the wall side, giving Kayla the window. At least she was a considerate guest, she hoped.

Trying to minimize the time she spent in the other woman's way, Mayria wandered downstairs in a new rose-colored gown. She only had gowns made in her homeland's style, Arad Doman.
She was aware some people found the gowns promiscuous, but she didn't see what was so wrong with the subtle hint of her curves. She wasn't displaying anything, there was no low bodice at all, or high-cut skirt. It merely clung.

She counted her gold before strolling into the common room for a glass of wine and a meal.
