Subject: Give me a break

{The scene opens out on a beach. The camera pans around to show hundreds of people laying out in the summer sun. The camera stops quickly as it spots Nightmare lying on a towel with a young woman next to him. From the side, Renee's voice is heard as she quickly jumps in front of the camera.}

Renee: This is Renee here for The Pheonix Promotion on location. Recently some heated words have been spoken back and forth between Paul Maxx and Nightmare. The two have a huge Hell in a Cell match coming up at Shockwave. But I'm sure that our loyal TPP fans didn't need me to tell them that. For the past few days, Paul has been the only one to speak out. Nightmare has been no where to be seen. Until now! Only TPP can bring you reports from out athletes vacations. Let's see what he has to say.

{Renee and the camera rush up to where Nightmare is lying on his towel.}

Girl: Ummm, honey, there is a camera crew here.

Nightmare: What?!?!

{Nightmare turns over to see Renee with her microphone and a camera right in his face.}

Nightmare: Give me a fu*king break!

{Renee turns to the camera man,}

Renee: We'll edit that part out!

Nightmare: Why is it that I can't even take a few days off and spend at the beach with my girl? You guys just don't quit do you?

Renee: I hope we're not intruding Nightmare. But I wanted to catch up with you and see what you had to say about Paul Maxx's latest promos.

Nightmare: You mean to tell me that he actually had the balls to speak up? What did he say?

Renee: I can do you one better. I have this portable DVD player. I converted it to a disc so you could see it.

{Renee opens the player and Nightmare sits up and watches the clips.}

Nightmare: HAHAHAHAHA!

Renee: What is so funny Nightmare:

Nightmare: Look at him. I knew I was getting to him. He's gone and changed his look AGAIN! Now instead of looking like Neo from The Matrix, he's shaved his head, but he's got this "Crow-like" gimmick going now. This is so sad.

Renee: How do you mean?

Nightmare: Paul thought he had it all figured out. He thought he would make his "Big Comeback" with a new Matrix gimmick. But it flopped just like the movie. So noe here he comes back and trying to save face once more. So I call him out on his Matrix hard on, and he goes and switches to another kind of gimmick. I got news for you Paul. Sting beat you to it already. It's bad enough that you are living in this dream world where you think we were not only best friends, but you still think you can beat me. It's a sad sad day in Paul Maxx's life when a few words can not only totally embarrass you, but can make you totally revamp your persona. Paul, I'll admit one thing that you got right. People are scared of me. But not like how you think. Not like they are afraid of...what did you say? Spiders, and snakes. They fear me cause they know that I can end thier lives in an instant. Just like I plan to do to you once that cell is lowered around that ring. You really don't know what you are getting yourself into. You are getting ready to dance with the devil himself. Oh man, I shouldn't have said that. Now you might come out here dressed like The Joker, or even worse, Batman. Paul you don't know whether you're coming or going. You rounded up a group of never-will-bes and you think that you can take on a group like The Higher Powers? I'm the heart and soul of THP. I'm the one who built this team. Remember this, I'm the one who picked you back in the day as well. But I'm entitled to one screw up in my life. You want to try and say that you left cause you went on to bigger and better things? You talk about how you won the XWF World Title. One little thing you left out Paul. You were the owner of that company. Everyone knows that's the reason you left all the other companies that you were working for. You had these delusions of grandure of owning your own wrestling company. Yeah, you were the World Champ. But it was in a company where you called all the shots. You see, when I won The Pheonix Promotion World title, I was on my own. I didn't have the help of the President. I didn't have a team. I was by myself. And I still did it. I'll tell you what Paul. You like to talk. You like to come off as some kind of bad ass. You also like to leave very important details out of your stories to make yourself look a whole lot better. Like I said, it's just sad. You had the right idea, you should let that little girl do all your talking. It comes out much more articulate. I think you've taken too many shots to the head in your career. I can see why you like a man like Poe. He was just as nuts as you are. For you to think that you have what it takes to beat me? You must be as crazy as him. Hell, I wouldnt be suprised if you cut your God Damn ear off after I destroy you. You compared me to guys like The Undertaker. I take that as a total compliment. He's ruthless, and does what it takes to win. And if it comes down to me throwing your pathetic ass from the top of that cage to pick up the win.....That's what I'll do! You were right about something Paul. I am crazy. You said that I don't have that killer instinct that I had the last time I destroyed you? Well I'm going to show you that hard way that the fire is still burning deep inside of me. I'm going to give you a hands on lesson in what it feels like to be a breathe from death. I'm going to show you first hand what it's like to lose in grand fashion. But I'm sure we will meet again later on down the road. And I'm sure you will talk about this match. But just like you always seem to do, you will leave certian parts out of it. Just like always! You're not fooling anyone Paul. I've exposed you time and time again, and I'm getting ready to expose you as the loser that you are when we are locked in that cell. I won't need help, I won't need friends. All I'll need is my two hands, my two feet, and that mean streak that you are so dying to see. Don't worry Paul. It's coming for you. And so are all the bad dreams. You tell me sweet dreams? I'd say the same to you, but I know what lies ahead of you. Lots of sleepless nights! So I'm going to go and enjoy the rest of my vacation. You sweat all of this out with your little bald head and your trenchcoat. I'm just glad to see that you're not wearing white and black face paint.

{Nightmare rolls back over away from Renee and the camera.}

Nightmare: Hey honey, would you put a little lotion on my back?

Girl: Sure thing sweet heart. Anything for you.

{The girl begins to spread the lotion on his back. Nightmare rolls over to see the camera is still there.}

Nightmare: Renee, as much as I enjoy you sticking you chest in my face everytime you see me, I really don't want to see you here now or for the rest of my vacation. Would you mind moving along?

Renee: Huh? Oh yeah, sorry about that. Thanks for your time Nightmare. I'm sure I'll see you at Shockwave.

{Renee and the Camera man head back up the beach.}

Girl: What the Hell did she mean by that?!?! "I'm sure I'll see you at Shockwave."

Nightmare: It's nothing. Now you gonna put that lotion on my back or should I go down the beach and find some other girl to do it for me?

Girl: No no no! It's ok. I'm sorry. You know I just get jealous when it comes to you and other girls.

Nightmare: Yeah right. Just put the lotion on.

{Scene Ends}
