-*Yelp sounded as the gush of water swirled her around madly, she paddled best she could to stay above the current. Her coat was drenched in blood and it was as though it wasn�t only the water tugging her down. Perhaps the souls of the innocent were in misery and attempted to escape through Kosses, or, perhaps the years of torment had turned them more like Bri and they attempted to drown her. She fought the best she could, unable to see her attackers or Briallan anymore. She waded slowly but surely to the stone wall that she was now level with. A rest was needed, but as the instant storm brood ahead, she had no where to escape and nothing to be done. As if waiting for the bolt of lightning, she paddled in place. And then it struck, and she remembered nothing of what happened next, just the sea of red before her eyes as she was finally tugged earth bound. The last thoughts recorded were of her lover, Alairic and what he might find when returning home. A dead queen, a motherless child, a broken throne, a lifeless castle and to much sorrow to bear*-
