The Kogi of Columbia, South America are under great duress and have requested cooperation on our part as well as yours. This request has come from two different Kogi organizations.
Because of the war that is ensuing between the guerillas, the Colombian government and the United States, the Kogi find themselves wedged in an extremely dangerous situation. The war is all around them. Any attention on them, either in the written word or especially in people attempting to go to see them, must be stopped to save their existence.
Therefore, because we at the Spirit of Ma'at truly care about the welfare of the native peoples of the Sierra Nevadas, we are going to remove all references to them, stop posting notices and articles about them, and request that you do the same. We will not allow postings on the bulletin board either. And most of all, please do not enter Columbia attempting to physically visit them. Silence is the best gift of love we can give them at this time.
