Tuula-Maria Ahonen, journalist, mother of two children and one dog, the founder of the Littermovement.

The member of the Littermovement picks up daily at least one piece of litter, and invites at least one new member to join and do the same.
Littermovement started in Finland in April 2000, and has now spread to many countries.

You can find the homepage at www.kolumbus.fi/japelto/littermovement.htm - in 16 languages.
All have been translated by enthusiastic volunteers.

The members are adults, children and young people as well. Even some dogs in Finland have been taught to pick up litter!
