• (He was a professional interruption-causer.. and tonight would be no different. It was the one year anniversary of the accident that had almost cost him his life and left him with a noticable limp and a perpetually cracking ankle.. and he was celebrating it with style. Sitting outside in a vintage red mustang with the white convertable top laid back, he looked up at her window and laid on the horn a few times, waiting for her to come to the window. As far as she had known, the car had been totaled and junked.. but he had had Jason pick up the wreckage and together the men had put the car back together by the numbers.. it was mint condition and purring like a brand new car. His eyes flitted down as a man carrying a package of delivery food was walking up to her building. • She ignored the honking for a while - she was good at that, ignoring distractions - but eventually it came to be a little too much and so she reluctantly dragged herself from her spot on the couch and over to the window to peer out. It took a moment before what she was seeing really registered, but then she pushed open the window and leaned out. "Hey! Shut up!" She shouted down before calling a little more quietly - she was going to hear about this from her neighbors, she was afraid. "What are you doing?" The car was definitely intriguing, or else she probably would have just returned to her couch until he gave in and just came up - but that was her car. • "What.." She started, but then winced a little as another nearby tenant voiced his opinion about this particular form of communication. "Hang on." She waved down to him and straightened to close the window up and then stepped in to a pair of flip-flops - summer was very over but she didn't want to try and find socks right at that moment, so headed down as is. "You're going to get us evicted, Christian. What is this all about?" She scolded him, but there was an affectionate tone to her voice - his devil-may-care attitude was one of her favorite aspects of his personality. • She laughed again and shifted more on to her back so that she could pull him over her, one hand resting at the base of his neck and the other trailing slowly up and down his arm. "I will keep that in mind, but good answer." Her tone was affectionately teasing as her eyes slid lightly shut and a quiet appreciative sigh slipped through her parted lips. "How was your day, love?"
