...his robes fluttering as he landed in a graceful crouch, head hung low. His right hand raked across the gritty stone floor, closing into a fist and gathering particles of dirt which he held before his face and let fall, his lip curling as he sniffed. Moisture. Ash. And something else., something...dark. So Bubbles, Allison and Via were already here.

He stood and bowed gallantly before taking a seat and steppling his fingers in thought. Around them were statues, carvings and paintings, tributes to Dracan rulers before them. His eyes fell upon a marble sculpture of his predecessor. A victim of the second great attack in Dracan history. A beauty to behold and a tragic demise. The years since his wife had been taken from him had been painfully lonely, but he had preserved her beliefs for as long as he had taken her place at this table. For her, he would be strong and shed no tears before the others. For her, he would remain as unmoving as stone...
