"Okay, I know you know how to put the saddle pad on," I say lightly as I set the heavy blanket over his back. Then I scoop up the heavy Western saddle. "Now the saddle is just the same it's the cinch that gets a little tricky." I settle the heavy saddle in the right place and flipped the left stirrup up and hooked it on the cantle. "Now, loop the leather strip through the loop and pull it tight. Then loop it through again and pull it tight again. You have to keep cinching it tighter until you get it as tight as you need it to." I gradually get it tight enough and then I hold out the extra leather. "Now we have to have it knotted. Wrap it around this metal loop here where the cinch gets tightened and wrap it around twice. Then just tuck the extra away underneath the saddle and since there's not that much extra here, you can just leave it hang there." I pick up the bridle. Sunny's bit was taken off his English bridle and I quickly attach it to the Western bridle. "The only thing different about the Western bridle is there is no noseband and the reins are REALLY long and split. Since this is your first lesson, we'll just knot the reins for ya. It took me forever to be able to ride without dropping one rein." I hand the bridle to Dani. "I know you can swing this part." I toss her a smile and moved over to Coco, who eyes me suspiciously. "Yes, darlin, we are goin' for a ride. I quickly saddle her up and look at Dani. "Ready to go?"

*Sorry if the cinch thing was kinda hard to explain. Not all cinches are like that!! Mine's not quite that complicated in real life!!*
