*she turns to the girl* this should wear off in about 2 hours. this cut is looking pretty deep and is strating to swell a bit so i need to stitch it up and since it seems to have damaged the hoof slightly within impact. i need to apply some medication to that and put a new shoe to make sure everything on the hoof heals properly so there will be less of a chance of the oof reopening over time. *she takes out her kit and gently suaves the cut with a peroxide and piece of cotton. she takes out a needle and begins to stitch the cut in tight stitches. she finishes that and takes a black tar looking substance and packs it into the crevice of the hoof and waits until it dries then she files down the hoof and places a special shoe on that is a complete oval shape and carefully nails it into place after adjusting it to the size of the mares hoof. she takes out another syringe, this one for tetanus, and slides it quickly into the mares neck. *she wraps the mares leg in a blue leg wrap and gives the girl instructions on tproper care for the wound* well, everything is set, she shoudl wake up any time now. and before she does make sure you remove all the nails and dangerous objects from this stall. *she smiles and pets the mare* but just change the bandages every day and clean the wound with peroxide. i would suggest soaking the hoof in some warm salt water but other than that make sure she si not deprived of her activities in the pasture. she is perfectly ine to play as long as it is low stress. and her riding probably should wait until a week or so until it is heeled. *she smiles* well, i have to go, take care now! *she exits and pat the mare, Spectrum's Abstract on the neck and walks down the dirt drive*
