I've often wondered how many other folk have experienced plesureable after effects from childhood enemas.
I know that my sister Tessa and I certainly did.
There were 2 particular kinds that I recall,firstly the immediate ones, which I usually experienced soon after I
finished on the toilet. I would find a quiet little corner someplace, curl up with a book and just enjoy the wonderful
empty,fresh feeling inside me, a slight tenderness in my
anus, the sensation of the muscles contracting and my tummy
settling down. Sometimes my tummy would fool me and I'd have
to run back to the loo, but most times I could tell when I'd
got it all out.
(strange thing was that Tessa always seemed to know when I'd
recently had an enema, even if she'd been far away at the
time.....I didn't need to say a word...she could read my face like a book !)
The second type of after effect, was what we called a "late
commer". We found that it usually occured within about 48 hours of the enema.
If Granma had syringed me in the morning, I often noticed that just before I fell asleep at night, I could still feel
the sensation of the nozzle and the powerful surging of the
warm suds.
In a way, it reminded me of the things I felt after spending
a day at the beach....lying in bed that night,I could still
feel the cadence of the waves....
Sometimes the feeling would occur the next day while sitting
in school.....as my buttocks rubbed against the hard bench,
it suddenly felt as if the nozzle was still there.....deep
inside me....my anus would pull tight, and I would drift off
into my own little world! Sometimes I would get scolded for
day-dreaming....I would blush a bit and the other kids would
laugh.....I guess I would have just about died if they'd known what I was really thiking about!
What made these things seem so precious was that they didn't
last very long.....they suddenly appeared and then faded,
(like the morning mist).....try as I would I couldn't recapture them (like chasing a rainbow).....I knew they
wouldn't come back again.....until I received my next enema.
I suppose it was all really a trick of the sub-concious mind
(and also the high level of anal sensitivity at that age...
particularly so in girls)......anyway I hope I've shared
something beautiful with you.

Most of the pleasurable effect comes DURING the enema. After it's over, headache and light-headedness is not uncommon.
When I was in puberty, Mom, and more often Grandma, sometimes gave me too much Epsom Salt.
More than once, I had a hard time keeping the next day's breakfast down, A time or two I didn't. Hid it from the parents and grand parents. Trust me, that was for the best.

Hi jenny. You explained it very well . I could never understand what happened to me, but i,d be walking, sometime after an enema, and my whole body felt weak. My legs would collapse sometimes, even. It was far more intense than any orgasm i ever had and didnt last for more than 15 seconds at a time.
I could sometimes induce it just before i was due for one as i walked down the hall to the bathroom.
I loved the way i had to bend over the laundry basket, draped with towels,and then have my nightie just flipped up. That was almost the same sensation but i had to be careful not to show it.

Thanks for your post Mary. Glad I could share my childhood
feelings with you and others....I've heard it said that
klismaphilia is experienced more in the mind than in the body.....the nerve endings around the anal area convey
messages to the brain,which interprets them as it will.
It stands to reason that this interpretation will vary
from person to person, and also that memories will be
stored in the sub-concious. We don't know when or where
these things may suddenly pop up! In my case it was fairly
soon AFTER the event, but never before. I think the same
was true for my sister (from what she told me anyway)
I also had a couple of dreams about enemas too.
Tessa and I were fortunate to have a kind granma who was
highly skilled in the art.....her enemas were never painful
(except of course for a few cramps towards the end, but she
had a way of easing this by massaging your tummy)
I wish all kids could have had their enemas the way we did.
She would start off by laying you naked across her lap,
sprinkle some talcum powder and the proceed to massage your back and then your buttocks......slowly separating them
wide apart. By that time you would feel wonderfully relaxed,
and she would then give you what I can only describe as kind
of "anal massage".....she would take a big blob of vasiline
and rub it round and round the hole, applying a steady gentle pressure, so that as the muscles relaxed, the tip
of her finger would sink slowly down into your rectum.
She would hold it there for a minute or so until you got
used to it and then say " are you ready dear?" and I would
nod and shyly mumble "uh huh!" Next thing I would be kneeling down on the bathroom floor....my knees on a thick
towel, my head on a cushion and my legs wide apart.
Granma had her Higginson syringe ready in the jug of warm
soapsuds (she used her own special mixture of baby soap
and a few drops of olive oil....I found it easy to take,
in fact it felt so smooth it seemed just like liquid silk
going up my tail!). There would be a bubbling noise as she
squeezed the bulb a few times to get the air out....then
came the big moment of insertion.....she would touch the tip
against my hole and tell me to "open wide" (little did she
know that I was only too keen to pout my anus and recieve
that warm smooth nozzle). It would glide in easily...it
was perfectly shaped...narrow at the top with a small knob
on the end,widening out in the middle, and then narrowing
towards the hilt again, so that my anus could grip it firmly.
Granma had taught me to control my breathing during the
enema.....I would inhale deeply as she squeezed the bulb
and then breath out as it filled up. I soon found that if
I got the timing right, not only was my enema more pleasureable, but I could easily take a larger volume.
By the way, if you've never had it with a Higginson then I
think you've definitely missed something......I found that
the gentle pumping, surging sensation was pure bliss....need
I say more... Granma has been gone for 26 years now...she
was a fine old Victorian lady, having been born in the
closing years of that era (fit for her age, she must have
been at least 80 when she syringed us )....I still miss her
so.....(she never abused us in any way....she genuinely
believed in enemas for their medical value)
My sister and I can therefore truthfully claim to have had
real Victorian Enemas !

It's amazing, I too was given the higginson syringe. I loved each squeeze of the bulb.The feeling as the fluid was pumped in was amazingly erotic and i hated it when she stopped.Also seeing it in the bowl of soapy water was exciting to me.
Like you i loved the noise it made as she squeezed the air out of it before she inserted the lovely shaped nozzle.

Hi Y'all
My two sisters and me were raised on a farm in the South mainly by grandparents,(cause our folks died when we were still todlers)
Whenever we were constipated Grandma would give us
what she called a "good opener". Can't remember what she
used in the mix,but it shure was soapy! and slippery too
so slippery in fact that our tight li'l asses didn't need
any kind of lube or anal massage! That enema nozzle just
shot right in before you could think or even blink.
She'd just give you a few insertions with the bulb, and

If by chance you were still closed up next day, then you'd

To Jenny and others who've taken time to share childhood
memories Many Thanks! I also have happy ones, lying over
Mammas knee, having my bottom done with her red bulb syringe
I know my first enema felt wierd and scary, but Mamma lubed my butt well and the nozzle didnt really hurt.
I soon learnt how to relax and enjoy it the next time.
I think I know what you mean by after-effects Jenny, I

Hi Emily, My sister and I were born in the UK and we lived
there until our folks moved to the US when we were in our
early teens. We recieved a few enemas from our mother,but
most were given to us by Granma (and always with the Higginson syringe....as far as I can remember). As a child,
were you also done with the Higginson?

Hi Emily, Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately at the present time,due to circumstances beyond my control,
direct e-mail communication between us is not an option.
I will however share some memories with you on the board,
when time allows me. Just to clarify things, I need to
explain that my interest in enemas is largely retrospective
ie : I have a need to share childhood incidents with others
who experienced similar things....looking back to a very
special time period in my life. It was mainly a time of
happy, carefree innocence....we knew next to nothing about
sex (until shortly before puberty)...Granma saw to that.
My sister and I lived in a sheltered little world...very

in our upbringing, especially since we were all living in

Regarding the enemas we both recieved, I should point out

i can certainly relate to the problems you are having just trying to post your experiences here and getting shot down by all the "check" morons. i have had the same problems in the past and although i have memories and experiences that are fantastic from a life time of enemas i will not post them on these forums because every time i have in the past some moron ruins it. i would like to invite you or any other ladies here who wish to share true experiences to email me. sorry to have to post on the "ladies only" board but since you did not include your email address, this is the only way i know to contact you.
