When I was about 7 I got my first enema with a rectal syringe and liked it as it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I started to give myself enemas when I was 12. OUr family's enema bulb was kept in our upstairs bathroom closet. It got to the point that evertime I took a bath, I gave myself an enema. While the bath water was running, I got out the bulb, filled it up and laid down on a towel on the floor and did it and I masterbated during. Sex is the primary reason we have a RT or enema fetish. When we get horny, we have to release it by giving ourselves a RT or an enema and mastubating to complete the process. One has to take place in order for the other to happen. If you took away the sex (masturbating) angle, nobody would have a RT or enema fetish. They feed on/off each other. I think everyone knows this but might not admit it.

I did masterbate many times without the RT or enema nozzle in me. Many times I would be visualing giving or receving an enema or RT.
