I take most enemas in (or on) our bed where I'm the most comfortable, especially if I'm sick. Chux pads provide excellent protection -- never had an accident. My husband placed a hook into the wall near my side of the bed, just at the right height for hanging the bag. When the hook isn't in "use," we hang a small ceramic art object from it.

We Our master bathroom has a tile floor, which is not exactly the softest place to pitch a blanket, etc.
