Hogan Officially Signs; Jimmy Hart Could Join Him

Hulk Hogan finally resigned with the World Wrestling Federation this past weekend, putting an end to the speculation as to whether or not he'd be joining Scott Hall and Kevin Nash in an NWO resurgence.

The interesting twist in this story is that Hogan has spoken with the WWF about hiring longtime friend Jimmy Hart to a contract. Hart left the Federation with Hogan in mid-93, and had been active in WCW ever since. The WWF does feel that they could find an on-air role for Hart, and are considering the options. If Hart does sign, this could be a fatal blow to the upcoming XWF promotion, which Hogan and Hart were involved with. The WWF has already taken Jerry Lawler and Curt Hennig from the XWF, as both were involved in the tapings back in October for that company. If Hart does sign with the WWF, look for Kevin Sullivan to take over his duties for the XWF.

Triple H Not Joining His "Clique"

Another rumor had the possible "Clique" reunion taking place, with Hall, Nash, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and X-Pac, but when interest in Hogan came about, the rumor died down, as it was obvious the WWF wanted to reform the original NWO. Even after the talks with Hogan were made public, there was talk about having Triple H come back and be a part of the New World Order. It now looks like Triple H will feud with the group rather than join them, leading to dream matches with his buddies Hall and Nash, as well as a surefire dream match with Hogan somewhere down the line.

Plans For Maven

The WWF is incredibly high on its first TOUGH ENOUGH winner, Maven. Having already gained television exposure with the series, and a series of matches with Tazz on RAW and Smackdown, Maven's greatest moment came at the Royal Rumble, when he eliminated veteran The Undertaker from the matchup. Tonight on RAW, Maven will recieve his first ever WWF title shot, a shot at the Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho. There is also talk of bringing in fellow TOUGH ENOUGH cast member Chris (Chris Harvard) to feud with Maven in the near future.
