*A neat, well chiseled skull pops over the half-door of the box stall next to Brio's. Its ears are pinned flat back, dark eyes glittering in the dim afternoon light. Cincinnati, 17 hands of strapping muscle covered in black hair, huffs at the scent of a fellow male. He turns his dark head, the little white star flashing slightly between his braided forelock, and gazes across at the chestnut gelding. The one ear glides forward, displaying interest and even a kindling of friendliness. He smiles in the langauge of the horse, tossing his head affably up and down with gentle snorts of welcome, having sensed that the horse is a little anxious about something. To the dog, much smaller than the ones he is used to, he imparts a gracious nicker, still smiling away, and flicks his tail across his withers.*
