Vixen ignored his words, not bothering to reply or look at him. He was no better than her, though he had a tendancy to think he was better than everyone. And he may be right about killing one of her children, but Fate wouldn't pretend that Shadow didn't have it coming to her. Fate had loved her daughter, but hated her in the same breath. Shadow had wanted to kill her to gain power. There was little Fate could do to love her child, though she did to a point. Pyros could not invoke fear that he would harm another, for there was more than just one dragon that would stop him, whereas no one had wanted to stop him from killing Shadow...
