She nodded a little bit, reaching up to smudge off a bit of lipstick that had rubbed off on his cheek affectionately, offering him her bravest of grins. "You're doing brilliantly at staying together." Her attention was diverted at the crunch of gravel beneath the feet of tux-clad Isaac, marching up the drive toward the two of them, waving for them to come on. When he finally caught up to them, he looped his arm in Echo's. "You two are holding up production here!"

She grinned up, "Thank you." She didn't get the kinds of looks she had grown accustomed to as a college student, lust and wanting, anymore, but she reckoned it was mostly because of Danny's large stature and protective hands, not how she looked, but she did take it to heart very much now when someone told her she looked nice. She nodded to her friend. "You look brilliant." She finally leaned up to press a kiss to her friend's cheek, her stomach turning a flip when it was announced that it was time -- she and Danny had promised to have a real ceremony when they were better able to afford it and really plan it out, so their small courthouse wedding hadn't been nearly this exciting. She felt like she, herself, was getting married. She grinned, and punched her friend in the shoulder playfully. "Go get 'em." She winked a bit, and headed toward Danny, who had handed off Isaiah to his grandmother and was now headed in her direction to take her up the aisle.

He turned bravely toward the crowd of people that seemed to have swelled the small area they had marked out for the ceremony. The priest was beckoning him to come to the altar with him and he couldn't have wanted to hug his mother's knees anymore, he couldn't have imagined. He let out a long breath, smoothed down the front of his tux and turned to her bravely, letting out another long breath. "okay, I think I'm ready."
