• She had spotted him when he had first walked in, and the idea of scolding him for being out seriously crossed her mind, but she pushed it away - she could never really propose an idea that put him somewhere where she wasn't. Sticking her tongue out, she tossed a cloth at him and slid him a glass of ice water - with lemon - and then served up a couple patrons who were waiting. Finally, she headed down to his end of the bar and leaned across it to kiss his cheek before settling with her elbows on the surface and her chin in her hands. • He nearly growled at her choice of beverage for him, rolling his eyes as she came closer. "You people never let me have any fun, you know." • "Sure we do... Just in moderation." Gaze affectionate, a soft laugh slipped from her lips and she rolled her eyes a little, returning his brief kiss. "You just missed him actually. He's hanging out in the back for a bit though..." "Feed me like I am a rabbit or something..." he growled lightly, truth was, he usually didn't feel up to eating much but he was feeling better today, a good day for him. Her eyes slid shut as she pressed close and willingly returned his kiss with a small smile, then tipped her head back a little when they broke. "Last time I checked..." • He took one of the plates from her as he followed her up the stairs to the office. A smile crossed his lips as he closed the door behind him before he settled down - happy with the food. He went straight to eating, feeling as though he hadn't had anything in days. The greasy goodness was heaven to him at that moment, along with the coke he had snagged before heading up here.
