Nuriel winks at his suddenly nervous sister, and opens the door slowly. As he walks to Lord Fenton, Janaye closes the door softly behind her.

"I'm Nuriel, and this is Janaye. We are in need of a home and thought perhaps we would be able to stay here." Serious and all business, he pushes his hands deep into his pockets. "I'm a good worker and Janaye can stay out from under foot when she tries. We won't be a hindrance, I can promise you that. And neither of us are going to run of to a Hatching to be candidates."

The girl scowls at him.

"Well, Janaye might." He grins fondly at her. His expression turns neutral again when he turns to look at the Lord Holder. "And that's about it with us."
