advice neede

i have a 27yr old daughter, with a 4yr old son,she is seperated from her husband and is now seeing another guy.
the prob is my wife an i still get on great with our son inlaw, and still see each other. we had arranged for him to stop over with our g,son 1 sat night, as they did a few weeks ago. when my daughter found out, she lost her temper and rang our son inlaw, and told him, no way was she gonna let them both stop over at ours, when i cofronted her, she said shes not wed anymore, and she wont alow our s,inlaw to stay at ours, with our g,son. she says its not right for us to let them stay. i had a massive fallout on the phone with her,saying she has no right to overule my descision and should not have rang him up and cancel the stopover.
i said its only right our g,son should stay over with his dad,which he LIKES to do, and that its not fare to ban him.being seen with us,as he has gone through enough upset up to now,with the marriage break up.
i cannot see the logic in my daughters thinking on this matter, which has really upset me, and has caused a big family rift.
can someone give me an opinion on this problem.
