He steered the rather bewildered Issa toward him with a dark nose as Koda drifted into the lazy state between wake and sleep.

He didn't fault his brother for stealing the warm body against which he lay, but was quite content to find another wolf to lay against. Wandering a few circles in and out of his father's legs, he paused to peer through unfocused eyes at the grey who seemed about his size. A yip was produced, and two tiny lines of milk teeth flashed in a wolfish grin.
