Her long strides soon brought her to his side, her emerald eyes shining with delight. "You're back!" Her tail wagged enthusiastically as she licked his chin. Falling back on her haunches, she gave him an arch glance. "Did you miss me?" she asked coyly, a sly grin tugging at her lips.
