I read the recap on the athletics page and it sounds like we had the same problem as last year where the team freezes up the last 5 minutes of games when the game seems to be wrapped up. I know our team is young, but this is unacceptable. We just lost to a team with no scholarship players. This combined with our recent results is making me wonder if Cross is just a slightly better version of McCarter and that we should have hired someone outside the past coaching staff with a fresh outlook. I guess the conference season will let us know whether or not the right choice was made.
