She sat down at a small table for two. She decided to pretend that she had someone with her at the other end of the table. She giggled at the thought and then pulled a pile of papers out of her backpack. She looked them over. In the pile was a mixture of board bills, show forms, and then a sketchpad. She took out a pen and a calculator and started adding up the numbers on her bills. She was so relieved to be done a few minutes later. She then set aside all her other items and looked at the menue. She then realized how hungry she was. She looked around at the town out the window. Most people were walking with friends and dates. She looked across the table to the empty chair in front of her and sighed. She hoped to start making some friends soon. she then waited for the waitress to come. . .
