Subject: ..wander..

The snow drove on, pounding on his skull, the wind howling in his ears. He was stupid to have gone out in the snow, and travelled so far away from his den. His mind cursed him mentally. His head was bent into the wind, the tawny fur of the large saber blowing wildly and letting the cold wash around the saber's muscles. And then..he saw a light..

The sabers eyes tried to focus on the elusive bright light coming from the storm. Snowflakes stung his eyes, causing him to look back downward again. It seemed that he would just have to walk, occasionally looking up to see if he was on the right path. But something seemed funny about finding a light. Only those two-leggers had such technology. If the wind wasn't blowing the way it was, the saber may have a better idea of what he was walking towards. Nevertheless, his life was at stake. The blizzard had caused everything to look the same. Steps were sharp slopes of ice, buildings were just snow-covered hills.

Can't rest now..can't stop..if I stop, then I am just admitting defeat. I will have let the blizzard get the best of me. Can't let that happen. Must live.

He drove endlessly for what seemed like hours and hours. He did not focus on the destination, simply putting one paw in front of the other. Without realizing it, he had stepped into the central quarters of the two-leggers and their flying reptiles.
