Lashana approached Cre and the purple Dragon, her own gray following behind her. "Hello, again. You bonded. Thats wonderful," she whispered as the joy and excitement bubbled and overflowed out of her, her eyes shimmering with it. "And a purple. Thats absolutely marvelous. What's her name? Has Safyre bonded? I hope she will. Isn't it a beautiful feeling?" she asked as she looked down to her gray; her dark seagreen pools glistened bright with love. A radiant smile transformed her face. The pull of the scar across her right eye went unnoticed for the first time in a long time. "I don't think I have ever been happier. or ever will. Lysethe is like a ray of sunshine givving light in the deepest, darkest cave. She is my salvation." Startled that she said so much, Shana paused but quickly changed the subject. "Have you noticed how much they eat? Its incredible. I swear they'ed eat the table if given the chance." Shana stopped again, this time with embarressment. "Look how I go on. And you barely just sat down."

I certainately would not. Lysethe said indignatly. They are wood and I would get splinters in my mouth. She thumped her tail on the floor. I'm still hungry, though.

Lashana laughed softly, her eyes dancing in amusement. "I know, Lysethe. It was just an expression." Glancing back to Cre, she addressed her again. "Lysethe says she's still hungry. Do you mind if we join you?"
