Dear Dancer,
The Trinity Irish Dance Company will be holding auditions at this years Western and Mid Western U.S. Regional Championships. New company members will be considered for our 2006 spring tour, and beyond. We would like to take this opportunity to individually invite you to participate.
Ellen Gahl, Rehearsal Director, and several company members are conducting auditions at
Western Region:
Double Tree Hotel (835 Airport Blvd, Burlingame, CA 94010)
Less than a mile from the Hyatt.
Mid-Western Region:
Galbreath Pavilion at the Ohio theatre, 55 E. State St. Columbus, OH
(less than a mile from the Hyatt Regency).
We will be meeting, working out, and giving dancers an idea of what TIDC is all about. We may have immediate positions available but the main focus of these sessions is to get to know the dancers that are interested in the Trinity Irish Dance Company for the future.
Auditions in San Francisco
will be held on Saturday, November 19th from 7:00Pto 9:00P
or hour after completion of results.
Auditions in Columbus
Friday, November 25, 8:00P to 10:00P
or hour after completion of results
& Sunday, November 27, 11:00A to 1:30P.
We encourage all dancers to attend one of the auditions even if you have attended an audition in the past. We would like to take this opportunity to see you again and update our files. You should contact me via email at dmahoney04d@aol.com or call773.549.6135 ext. 15 and leave a message to confirm attendance or obtain more details. However, walk-ins are welcome so please encourage all of your friends that are interested in the company to attend as well.
While dancers under the age of 17 do not tour with the company, we are happy to begin a dialogue, and keep a file on dancers from 14 years and up. If you will not be attending this years Oireachtas you may call or email me about sending an audition video. It is also possible to set up a meeting with the company if we happen to be in your hometown. Audition Videos can be sent to:

It has been another outstanding year for the Trinity Irish Dance Company. Last year we had a month long tour of Japan and an ambitious spring tour with Different Drums of Ireland, the hot, new percussive Northern Irish Band. In addition to the ground breaking collaboration with Different Drums, the company offered several premiers including The Black Rose and Goddess. The companys work has been described as Intoxicating by the New York Times, Awesome by the L.A. Times and the Washington Post said, Trinity mounted an astonishing attach! The integrity and breadth of the companys work is unrivaled.
The Trinity Irish Dance Company is the worlds only nonprofit professional Irish Dance Company, performing and touring nationally and internationally. The academic career of company members is one of the companys primary focuses. The performing arts and this Company provide a wonderful balance for extraordinary young people between their academics and the arts.
