Subject: This is getting out of hand

I am getting really tired of this. People, taking some pills is not the answer. Once you die, you cannot do anything to improve your life. I am not trying to sound insensitive to anyone's problems at all, but I know what I'm talking about. I tried to kill myself once and then I realized that I wanted to live. I was lucky. I survived.

This is what life is all about. It's about having problems and overcoming those problems and approaching obstacles with a positive attitude. If we all had it easy, life would be great, I know, but it's not. Also, did you ever stop to consider that you might be having a bad day? I know it sounds cliche, but tomorrow is a new day.

Also, not that we don't want to hear it, but what do you want us to do? We'll say, "No, don't take the pills." but it's ultimately up to you. If you've been feeling depressed for many weeks, tell you parents, not *just* us. If your parents brush it off, keep telling other people until someone listens. It's never too late to get help.

[> Oopsies, LOL. Sorry, Charity. I must have misread your post. But two of my offline friends are depressed and I have to watch them when I'm with them becaue they're suicidal. And also Stevie got me worried (sorry to use you as an example, hun). No offense meant, nor taken =) -- , 22:49:51 01/13/03 Mon (cache-ntc-ad05.proxy.aol.com/198.81.26.106)
