 Yes! I have a daughter that had surgery for tarsal navicular coalition 5 years ago. Both feet. Left foot was a total sucess, right foot total non-sucess. She was 9 and 10 at the time. We invested in good quality orthotics from a podiatrist and it mostly solved the problem. She was dancing at the time but it was congenital not from dance. She is 17 now and has no problems with her feet now ( well if you don't count ripped off toenails and blisters from too much hard shoe!)
