A new scent, finally, in these lands. Few had penetrated their depths for quite some time save a few stragglers and the King's interest in them was keen. His large paws were silent on the broken stone as he made his way toward the new scent, speeding up to a fast walk as with it reached that of the queen's. His queen's. Like a whispered breath, he stopped beside her, his oceanic eyes taking in the form of the newcomer. Unlike her, he did not sit. He remained standing, his plume high, his silver and alabaster body immaculate and patient. It was as if he were backing her, and her words, in a silent, yet profound way that could not be bargained with. He waited until the queen had spoken, before letting his own voice forth. It had changed from that renegade, smart-assed talk of his youth to a calmer, and commanding tone. "I am Kaiyn, and this is Aarien. We are the King and Queen of Camelot." His tone booked no arguement, nor leave any room for commentary. "As my Queen has stated, the West Wing is still under guardianship of the late queen, and it is her choice as to who becomes the next guardian of it." The wolf shifted his large frame, giving leave to pause before he spoke again. "However, there are other places in this realm still needing leadership and guidance. If you would perfer the inside of the castle, there are the libraries, the gatehouse, the keep, or if you would like the outside, perhaps as a grounds keeper? I must warn you though, that the populace of this realm is still small, and in addition to regular duties, you would be advised to atract others to ally with us, or even live here." He paused, again, meeting the wolf's oddly colored eyes steadily. "There is a test of sorts before any of this would happen though. Not only have you simply walked in here, and demanded leadership of parts of the castle, but you have done it with no previous credentials, or knowledge of the Queen and I, or of these lands. So now it is your choice, as to whether you wish for this task, to prove to us your abilities, your loyalty, and your desire to live here." He stopped speaking then, his eyes remaining on Kalan, waiting for an answer.
