The wolf was probably thinking she was insane, not fit for the task. On the contrary, the fea knew exactly what she was doing. It is possible for both darks and lights to coexist, after all, what truly was the difference between the two. Perhaps darks enjoyed the kill more than lights? No, they were both wolves and as a canine instinct the kill is just as enjoyable as the hunt. Then perhaps the darks were simply incapable of feeling? Couldn't be farther from the truth, Maka had felt once, very deeply, it was fear that kept her away. Then what is the difference between Darks and Lights? The truth, in her mind: there really isn't a difference; it was possibly for darks and lights to co-exist. The trust between the two would in time build, just as in any new relationship.
The alphess did not think the wolf would easily be inclined to take her side on this matter, but she still had her secret weapon. As she spoke her voice was calm and cool, it held no threat, she simply wanted to state the facts for him. "If you are attacked you will be unable to defend yourselves against a full pack. Your mate will die defending your sister from a terrible death, but in the end, it will be a massacre. Her pups will be lucky to die peacefully and whole, but more likely your attackers will feast on their body. You and your sister's mate will die side by side alone defending something that is not worth your lives." She spit the last part out. The alphess knew everything she said would happen if they didn't leave, the time of Camelot, Mylissica, and the Labyrinth was over. The time of the United wolves had to begin, or they would all perish.
