RedHat 8.0 - bash RPM rebuilding help
Directions:

$ rpmbuild --rebuild XXX.src.rpm or xxx.srpm

* If the above works without errors then go to the
/usr/src/redhat/i386/ to find the newly built RPM.

Note: If you update RH8.0's Kernel to 2.4.18-19.8.0 and have an NVIDIA GeForce2 MX Video card you need to rebuild the NVIDIA_kernel RPM and issue $ RPM -Uvh xxx.rpm.

(Hope this helps)

[Update $] SLUG is back. In the next few weeks you should be seeing some updates to the website, most likely not until after Friday, November 12, 2002. Today I installed Slackware 8.0 using the following partition sheme.
/boot 500M
/ 20G
/usr 8G
/var 20G
/home 30G
The XF86 wouldn't load but that's becuase I didn't have time to configure it using xf86config. *Note: If you want to setup XF86 a different way use xf86setup. One is a GUI and the other is text based. Mdk9 arrived today, will be playing with that later tonight and tommorow morning. Eventually the system should have Mdk9, Slk8, and custom linux all on the same 80gig drive but that's going to be awhile. Talk soon. Feel free to post any ideas, hints, or information here.
