Subject: Le argh. (talking in Frenglish is fun!)

So.
I went to the doctor cuz I feel like le shit. Tired all the time, my fucking hair is falling out, I'm all stressed over nothing, I can't stop goddamn sweating, I'm losing weight... And he orders me bloodwork. OK, I s'pose that's ok - I mean, I guess I need it, since I haven't had my thyroid level checked in over a year and I'm supposed to have it done every six months (my whole family has thyroid problems - my mom and my dad's brother both had thyroid cancer, too). But then I get home and open up the requistion form - JESUS. They're gonna need to take half my blood to do all these tests! We're talking postassium levels, glucose, biliruben (the fuck is THAT?)... About 25 different tests! Fucking MONO test, too! Pretty sure I don't have mono, but thanks anyways. All I needed on that sheet was three little letters - TSH. But no... fucking alkaline phosphatase, creatinine, W.B.C count... what the hell? I'm so confused. Does he think I'm dying or something? Christ. There's a diabetes test on there too! Now, that one I could see myself requesting in the near future anyways, as it runs in my family and I'm all paranoid anyways... lol... I don't get it. Thank god for OHIP and nationally-funded healthcare, cuz I think that it would cost a fortune to get all this done. Free healthcare rules. :)
Anyways, I have to get all that done tomorrow, and then I have a follow-up appointment on the 14th. I'll keep ya posted.

What else is new... oh. On the afternoon of the 12th is the Katina Network Hope Volleyball Beachfest, which is a beach-volleyball/charity/music thing, and Jim from Blue Rodeo's playing there, and so's Holly McNarland and Colin James, so I'm SO going to that (15 dollars!), and later that night at the Bluesfest, and I'm seeing Dan Akroyd and Jim Belushi play (it's gonna be PRICELESS!). And the next day I'm going back to Bluesfest to see Blue Rodeo! Woo! Hello two days of staring at Jim Cuddy's ass! And such a nice ass he has... Colin Cripps has a nice ass, too. He plays with Jim when he does his solo thing. And he's Kathleen Edward's boyfriend. Did you know that? My knowing that is slightly stalkerish. That's alright, though.

OHH! I got two puppies!!! I DID!! REALLY!! I'll post pics of them soon, k? We just got them yesterday! Two six-week-old Shelties! Caileigh is your traditional Lassie-coloured Sheltie, and Chessae is black and white instead of the brown and white. They're gorgeous.

I think that's all the news from here... I think... ummm... yeah. That's it. Yep. Except for the fact that I'm in love with Ricky from the Trailer Park Boys. No further comment.

J.
