Yep. On Thursday night. Melissa might have seen him. Did you see him? I hope you saw him.

LOL...

My dear Justin Trudeau was the master of ceremonies for Jean Chretien's tribute dealie. He's leaving office, and it's almost sad. Paul Martin (the guy who's going to be the Prime Minister soon) isn't NEARLY as funny as Jean.

Annnyways, he (Justin, not Jean... lol) was all decked out in a tux, and he was fantastic (well, as fantastic as you can be at such a humourless event).

Also, Paul Anka sang. (o_O) He changed all the words to his song My Way or whatever it's called. CRAZYness.

I just realized that this post is making NO sense... I'm a participant in the inaugural "Mid-November Eggnogathon", and I'm a bit tipsy. Oy. :)

K, gonna stop rambling now.

J.

PS - Melissa, tell me you love Jian Ghomeshi! Everyone I've talked to lately has been like, "WHO? Oh, the guy on the CBC with the weird hair?" Makes me angry.
Anyways, I've always liked his show, and his band (Moxy Fruvous) but I've been listening to his solo stuff lately, and it's fantastic. Everyone else, if you're in need of new tunes, go buy JIAN GHOMESHI's EP from maplemusic.com for 12 bucks Canadian. Jian's wicked cool.
