Christine - I''d say it is indeed unusual for others to watch an enema these days but it does happen. I had a friend in for an endoscopic exam several years ago. I visited her the night before when she checked in to be prepped. The nurse came in and said I would have to leave. She was carrying the can and hose so it was obvious what was about to happen. My friend asked if the order was for SSE til clear and the nurse said no - just 1 enema. My friend asked if I could stay and the nurse said OK. We continued to talk while she got the enema. I found that watching this was a turn on for me. After she made her second return trip to the toilet I said I had to leave. I think my friend and I both enjoyed the event.
I went home and gave myself an enema.
