Subject: Some fans are crazy and creepy...the sequel

Yesterday I started a thread on the C&S on season 6-7 because I had an idea about a new way to read it...it was a purely intellectual approach, to play with metaphors and possible connections, not a matter of opinions and likes or dislikes, but I thought it was fun and all (even if the writers didn't think of it at all,*I* did!)and of course it turned into something negative when Silveragent decided to show up and rant on how Buffy became a monster and how the show sucked after the first seasons...

Being in my head is probably confusing and complicated because I overthink stuff and I have an analyzing mind that could connect an Philippine mouse to a Wall Street trader if the fancy took me (hey could be fun!), but being in *his* must be scary and murky. How can one be obsessed and angry to the point to lose any common sense and perspective like that?

Why do I even try still? *sigh*

Oh yes I know, I'm stubborn and I happen to like this show.

I was enjoying your viewpoint and I had something to say, but I got called away from the computer for a few hours. When I came back I refreshed and there was Silveragent. I started reading and what was said just soured the happy I had from reading your intial post and the first few below it.

I just lost all motivation to post.... *sigh*

I never got why people like silveragent and all of those who posted how much the show sucked either because of Spuffy or because Spuffy ended and Spike was revealed to have no self control (as evil things often do not) and endlessly posted the show sucked because of this and kept freakin watching...if I think a show sucks even if I enjoyed it at first I freakin stop watching and I certainly wouldn't go to fan site and dumped on people because they didn't agree with me


silveragent was always nuts I do believe he thinks s1 is the best season and yet he forced himself to watch another 6 seasons after that because the show sucked...in reality s5 is the best season, the most complete well rounded and best written...not to mention he is a complete xenophobe..... half the time I had no freakin idea what point he was trying to make, I believe he just wants attention ...the list of the totally insane people that posted at the C&S is very very very long

but I am not an analyst and neither are the other boardies. It's better to ignore insane people, I guess...

It's funny how people loathing the last seasons and Joss' final message turned me into a season 7 defender while I didn't like it much, and still think that the ending was botched up.

I'd argue with you that s 4 is the best season, but I'll let you get away with s 5 because it's my second favourite and it has my favourite episode (you guess which one), and you're cute! ;- )

I went and read what that idiot was saying...the only person suffering from a seemingly endless stream of moral realativism is actually him...I don't think he knows the meaning of the phrase to tell you honestly...... and I love that after all these years he still managaes to say in every single post.."Willow suddenly turned gay"...who has an issue with gay people????? I wonder....
