Jesus and John were walking along one day when John asked; "Master, how long before I become like you"?
Jesus answered; "5 years". "What if I practice all day long"? Jesus replied; "10 years". "What if I work at it night and day with no rest"? "15 years"; Jesus said. "Master, I don't understand-the harder I work the longer it takes". Jesus replied; "With one eye on the goal - you only have one eye on the path".

And now a story for Bob.

John and Jesus were walking through the forest one day when John asked; "Master, how do I find the kingdom of heaven."? Jesus stopped and asked; "Can you hear that mountain stream off in the distance."? After awhile and with full attention John could hear the faint trickle of a stream off in the distance. "I hear it, Master". Jesus said;"Find heaven from there".
They walked along for quite some time when John stopped and asked; "What if I did not hear the stream.?" Jesus replied;"Find heaven from there".

Wow I have not been erased.

I was in Heaven this AM. The sun was out, I had skis on and I had nothing but untracked snow in all directions. I could only hear the logging operation across the valley. I went over and bought 11 cords of logs this afternoon. That ought to make me tougher then I am now. Saw it, split it, haul it and stack it. Anyone want to arm wrestle in a month?
