A leg up on most people only means I got it better then slightly more then 50% of the global population. I (we) got it better then 95% of the Global population. Ignoring this is a personal choice.
The reality of Heaven and Hell works both ways Tim. If your right I am screwed and if I am you are. My take is simply that we all get to die at some point. If you live your life by common sense and treat others as you would like to be treated then you ought to be most of the way to any potential after life. I tend to pick up the dollar I find on the ground rather then wait for some big pay off the might not ever happen.
You say you have been in Hell? Tim you have no idea how bad life could get. Just read the paper Man! You have been to Club Med on a bad day nothing even close to Hell.
Sweet By and By ? Is that the opposite of Sour Far and Far? Life is good, haven't you seen the Tee shirts?
You are correct Tim in one thing. You need some practice at enjoying your self. You are sorely lacking the ablity to have fun. This doesn't come from a book or need clearance from some jet setting techno preacher. It is your own personal choice that allows this to happen. You can't hang with your old friends anymore simply because you don't let it happen. It is your choice in the end.

If you don't your a dirt bag and we would all know it. Trust me you don't need the chapter and verse to justify your actions. You are a good person and don't need all the JC mumbo jumbo to justify your existance.

I've been gone a while Tim and just checked your posts. What I see above are calm waters where there is depth, struggling and failing waves as one gets closer to shore and solid shore. Imagining myself in either of these three positions tells me that the shore is a desired place to be.
