{The hunched ebony figure waits silently in the treetops as the human passes, somewhat stiffly, by. Strange. Shapeshifters rarely traveled in their human form, most finding it akward and slow. Only when the figure is out of sight and hearing does the large bird move, shuffling sideways upon the branch and launching from her dew-laden perch, sending a cascade of water droplets springing from the damp bare branch. Remaining a safe distance above the road, she glides smoothly forward before dropping abruptly into the wide lair entrance. The familiar ledge of rock awaits invitingly, undisturbed in its lofty position high above the chamber floor. Landing with a soft click of her talons, the raven turns, wings hunched, emmiting a brief croak as her gaze strives to guess at the obviously frightening recent event...}
