Subject: Arrival

The woman strides in, looking quite annoyed. The Old City had been pretty much deserted when she had scouted out there for werewolves and other evil creatures... She had found nothing, seen nothing. Entering the lair, she pauses to peer down at the stained earth. Blood. She suddenly ran through the possibilities. Banshees - she had witnessed an attack of a banshee, and they didn't strike her as the type to create or leave such a mess. Demons, or what she knew of them anyway, didn't look to make that much of a mess... Skinwalkers wouldn't have likely caused it, either, although she had heard rumors that one skinwalker had been haunting the lair lately. Werewolves... Nah. They didn't usually attack in such a manner to produce that much blood, so it was unlikely. Vampyres? That seemed like an obvious possibility. Their feeding habits tended to be messy, from what little she knew of them. The mess could easily have been caused by a feeding vampyre.
Following the trail of blood, she hesitated to peer into Kali's cavern... She finally spies several figures, including her instructor, but she remains outside the door and out of the way of the working shifters, puzzling over the happenings as she waited patiently.
