The scream reverberates in his helmet and tears into his brain, dropping him to one knee. The noise at once causes more pain than the wound that nearly felled him on the plains of Tenya and drives more fear into him than the dreaded cavalry charge at Rork's Canyon.

The Shapeshifter fires her bow and the years of combat instinct kick him into action. Tearing his helmet off and tossing it aside with his left hand he bellows his own battlecry and charges the beast, Longsword held high in his right hand. He brings it down hard in a blow that is strengthened by panic but inaccurate with haste.

ooc- I would agree. There is an old saying I'm rather fond of... "There are never any winners in a knife fight." First hand, that doesn't refer to morality, but the fact the both fighters will cut each other to bits. Now lets all get along kiddies, we don't need anymore heated debates over nothing or hurt feelings on these boards. Constructive criticism only (as I'm sure it was meant to be). The fact that a snake could not hear the scream is good enough explaination for me. Uninvited lecture over, I'll shutup now.
