Author: Kiyura [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 06:18:46 02/02/02 Sat The sun was high in the sky, the birds were singing a lulling melodic song, and even a few animals could be seen scurrying through the forest. Once, living the life of a Kokiri, Link knew the forests as well as he could wield a sword. He had grown up in Kokiri village, a small, secluded town of its own where it inhabitants greatly respected a very old and wise tree known as the great Deku Tree. He had learned his fate from the great Deku Tree just before he died - He was an actual Hylian. Upon learning his fate and his past life, Link set off to fight the evils of the world and save his home, Hyrule...but, saving a world wasn't his concern right now. Slowly, scanning the area, Link rode upon his faithful horse and friend, Epona. He was in search of something... Hours passed and the sun was was steddily lowering to the ground. He and Epona had to find a place to sleep during the night. They were still in the middle of the forest, and there was no use turning back. As soon as Link had found a rather cozy spot on top of a hill in a wide patch of grass, he hopped off Epona, and layed down beside her and slept, but he couldn't sleep at all that night because he had been awaken many times by a strange sound in the shrubs.
