Subject: HELP Author: Minty [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 14:53:34 04/26/02 Fri "Rainfall!" I yelled again for the hundreth time. Finally a black figure emerged from the trees. "Come on sweetie!" I crooned. He whinnied seeing I had a bucket of grain. I shook it and then he came cantering over. "Hey boy," I laughed and haltered him. "Like your new halter?" I asked him. He looked at me as if he were actually saying "It;s not that great!" I smiled anyway. I lead him over to the gate and over to a wash stall. noticing how filthy he was. I gave him really good bath until his coat shown the brilliance. Then I put his sheet blanket on so he wouldn't get chilled in his stall. After I put Rainfall in his stall I put up the stall guard and ran to get a muck bucket and filled it with fresh shavings and then I switched the bub in the light I had in his stall. "There sweetheart," I kissed his nose. "Here," I offered him the rest of my apple. He took it happily. Then I gave him his hay and grain. Then I put some apple juice in his water. "See you later Rainfall," I said and shut the door. I got into my car and drove down to my cousins Ranch Walnut Creek one of her clents had a throughbred for sale and she hada 10 year old saddle bred for sale. "Becky," I smiled. "I'll be with you in a second," she said. I smiled. She turned around. "AHHHH Minty what are you doing here?" she squealed. "You know what I'm doing here!" I hugged her. "This is Hawk, he's kinda stupid sometimes but that's because he gets spooked by lots of things that are really bright. He's really afrain of camera falshed too," Janet said. I nodded and lead him to the arena. I warmed him and myself up. Then I aimed him for some jumps. He refused each one three times. "Umm I'm sorry but he's just not for me," I said politely. Becky led Gettysburg over. I got up. He knew immediately what I was doing and went into show off mode. This is good, I thought. I took each jump with ease. I hugged him "Good boy!" I praised smiling. He whickered and twitched his ears back and forth. "Bec when can you bring him up to me?" I asked excitedly. "Not until weekend after next, we have a show next weekend. "Sounds great, so I won't pay till then?" I asked. "That's not a problem," she winked. "Great. I said I untacked Gettysburgs in the arena so he could play around. "I'm think about sending Rainfall's to Daddy's, he's got too much energy for me." I went on to explain aout me eating dirt...literally. "Well Minty sounds like you might wanna do just that" Becky laughed. "I think I will." I nodded. It was raining in sheets on the highway. my windsheid wiper couldn't go fast enough. Then suddenly I swirved and an oncoming car hit me. I could feel myself watching myself fall. I closed my eyes as my head hit he steering wheel. Then I hit the top of my head on the roof my car. I then relized my car was turned upside down. i could taste blood running into my mouth. My locket began t burn again. I couldn't close my eyes. Bt I was so sleepy...
