Subject: Coming Home

The hospital room was still dark when I woke up, my mother was sleepingin a chair b the window, and flowers from family were placed throughout the bedroom. I watched the monitors beep steadily, and my mother sleep. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
A few hours later, Everything was dimly lit and my mom was watching the morning News quietly on TV. "good morning sweetie," she said cheerily. i croaked a little moan. "Oh it's a good day you are able to go home," my mom kissed my cheek. I raised an eyebrow wishing I could pinch myself to make sure this wans't a dream. a docot came in with a nurse, hey checked my monitors whispered to eachother and then began to chat with my mom in the hall way. My mom smiled. I croaked wanting to know what they were talking about.
My mother went in. "Mint you get to go home!" She said excitedly. i smiled.
I wheeled my self on the gravel road. with a new dog that would help me with odd and end things. His name was tux. "Tux get me that book," i commanded in my apartment. He went over to the coffe table took the book. I was given it, and began to read.
