When i first started to go to UBF, i noticed that everybody wrote their name and prayer topics on the offering envelopes. I thought this kind of strange coming from an Anglican church background; therefore, i never started to do it and still do not. However, when one brother noticed, he questioned me. When i told him that their was no reason to put my prayer topics on the envelope - everybody knows my prayer topics from Friday meetings and Fellowship on Sunday - let alone my name, he looked at me with a look i can't quite describe. My thinking is, that all tithing and offerings should be between God and I, just as it states in the BIBLE!! Someone correct me if i am wrong!! As an aside, this website was referred to me by a fellow brother in Christ who is also part of UBF, but has not been attending as long as i have. I am so grateful to the fellow brothers and sisters in Christ that started this website. God bless you all.
