I don't think the person who posted this news on www.reformubf.org was saying that joining the reform movement would heal Mark Yoon. I think whoever wrote it hoped that Mark Yoon would be healed, and that this grave situation would convict his conscience because of his part in the forced abortion, and in the beating of another missionary, and also in years of physical abuse of Christmas drama members. Actually, I don't agree with including Mark Yoon's situation in a posting of reform news. It smacks of belief in the law of cause and effect, which a reformed UBF should be completely freed from. People don't get sick because they leave UBF as SL has preached. People don't get sick because they stay in UBF. This is the Age of Grace in Christ, not the Age of Cause and Effect. All we can say is that God has allowed this serious illness for a good purpose, just as he did when Paul was afflicted with his thorn. His message to Paul was, "My grace is sufficient for you." We can only pray that Mark will grow stronger
in the grace of Jesus through this. If he does, he will be well on his way to joining the reform, in spirit, if not in fact.
