She closes her eye and reopens them, making sure this was real. She looks to Lassie and a relieved expression crosses her face. But then Kat's worried face looks down at Lassie. Had she had her shots? Humans could get shots to prevent them from getting rabies if they were bitten but dogs, they had to be put to sleep. "Lassie, go run and get help. I am gonna stay here if they attack I will run or climb up the nearest tree. I will be ok. I don't want you to get rabies trying to save me. Just hurry... Please? Will you do this for me?" Her voice is quiet and she stares directly at the wolves. She hoped Lassie would sense the nervous pleading in her voice. "If you here me scream or anything you can hurry back to help but I am ok now..."
