My heart it longs for feelings past,
Eternal Love? It never lasts.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder,
makes the minutes last that little longer.
And when this builds up its hard to find,
Another who will love with kind,

Her devoted heart could hold no longer,
In our lives without each other?
Distance is the lonely one,
And when its time the love is gone.
Vanished now without a trace,
Ashen is the others face.
